About The Wealthy Life Edit

A publication about living richly.

What does it mean to live a wealthy life?

Is it financial freedom? Meaningful work? The relationships we nurture? The experiences we collect? Or simply having the freedom to spend our time doing what matters most to us?

Perhaps it's a little of everything.

We spend so much of our lives pursuing success, happiness, and the things we believe will make our lives better. But how often do we stop to ask ourselves what we're actually working toward?

And whether the life we're building is the one we truly want?

The Wealthy Life Edit is a place to explore those questions.

Through personal essays and thoughtful perspectives on money, work, relationships, personal growth, and everyday life, The Wealthy Life Edit invites readers to look at familiar things a little differently.

Not because there's one right way to live, but because sometimes a different perspective opens up possibilities we hadn't considered before.

I believe a rich life isn't necessarily about having more. It's about understanding what matters to us and making intentional choices about how we live.

And those choices will look different for everyone.

A note from the founder

I'm Maxine Kim, an author, CPA, and someone who has always been curious about people, the choices we make, and what makes life meaningful.

My first book, Beyond the Bank Balance, grew out of a desire to help business owners better understand their finances. But as I worked on the book, I found myself exploring a much bigger question: What do we want our businesses, our work, and our money to make possible in our lives?

That question led me to think more deeply about success, freedom, relationships, and the ways our perspectives shape our experiences.

The Wealthy Life Edit grew out of that curiosity.

It's a home for my writing beyond the pages of my books, and a place to explore different perspectives and ideas that I hope will inspire reflection, conversation, and perhaps a different way of seeing the world.

I'm glad you're here.
